There are several ways of giving an advice , among them:

• You really ought to work hard
• You had better try it again
• You should take some rest
• If I were you , I would study literature
• In your position, I would do my homework first
• If I were in your shoes, I’d work hard
• You must see a doctor
• Stop smoking so much
• I don’t think , you should go earlier
• I wouldn’t advise you to do this
• I suggest you take a holiday
• Why don’t you go to bed to take some rest
