Study Skills :Tips for boosting your memory
Here some tips to help you improve your memory:
- Try to memorize names, vocabulary words, numbers, formulas...etc
- Try to memorize your phone numbers without memorizing the numbers you rarely use. If you remember the numbers of your parents, friends , relatives , you’ll be happy to have saved for the day you lose your phone or your home directory.
- Before sleeping make a flashback of the most important events because sleep allows the anchoring of the information.
- Say aloud for several times the things you want to remember.
- Walk at least for 30 minutes a day to effectively oxygenate your brain.
- Learn how to manage your stress because anxiety and stress can influence your memorizing capacity.
- Use your five senses : pay attention to colors , sounds , smells because these things help to anchor your memories.
- Use mnemonics to remember.
- Concentration and attention are the fundamentals of a good memorizing.
- Use some meditation techniques that can help to perfectly concentrate.
