- Inside the house: Most people are on familiar terms with most locations in typical houses .Here are some less common ones with their definitions.
Shed: a small structure, either freestanding or attached to a larger structure, serving for storage or shelter.
Cellar : a room or enclosed space below ground level used for storage.
Hall: a space or passage inside the entrance or front door of a house
Utility room : a room used a washing machine and dryer…etc
Loft : space in the roof of a house usually used for storage
Study: a room used for reading and writing
Attic : a room in the roof space of a house.
Terrace : a flat area , especially outside a house where you can sit , eat .
Bungalow: a single-story house without a basement.
Cottage: usually a small country dwelling.
Detached: not join to any other house.
Igloo: constructed of ice or snow.
Mansion: a very large detached house.
Snout House: a house with the garage door being the closest part of the dwelling to the street.
Villa: a large house with big gardens .
