Sweet: Food Having the taste of sugar , Also having a pleasant smell.

e.g. a cup of sweat tea

 

 Bitter:  Food having a sharp taste

e.g. Lemons taste very bitter

 

 Greasy: Food that has been cooked in oil

e.g. a  greasy hamburger.

 

 Salty: Food that containing or  tasting of salt.

e.g. what you have cooked is very salty  .

 

 Tasty: Food that having a strong and pleasant flavor.

e.g. A tasty dish meal.

 

 

  • Ways of cooking (verbs)

 

To boil:to cook or be cooked by the process of boiling

 

 To fry: to cook sth in hot fat or oil

 

 To bake : to cook food ( bread , cake..) with dry heat, especially in an oven.

 

 To roast : to cook food , especially meat  without liquid over a fire.

 

To grill: to cook food over a fire , especially outdoors.
