Use :

  • Pronouns ending by –body and –one refer to people.

 

  • Pronouns ending by –thing refer to things

 

  • The use of pronouns beginning in some– et any– follows the same rules of the determinants and pronouns some and any.

 

 

  • All indefinite pronouns are followed by a singular verb.

 

Nobody here speaks French .

Everyone else was there.

 

  • The indefinite pronoun is the only pronoun that can take an adjective .

 

Jenny’s always saying something stupid.
