  • Use

 

  • We use the present  perfect  continuous in the following cases :

 

  • To speak about a situation which started in the past and is still going on.

 

e.g. Roland Garros has been running every year since 1928.

       I have been living in Casablanca for over three ears.

       It has been raining for one hour.

 

  • To express a situation or an activity that may just has stopped or still going on.

 

e.g. I am very exhausted .I have been working on the homework for two hours.

        Your head is red. Have you been running?
