Future Simple
- Form: I/we / shall / will play
He/she/it/you/they will play
I am going to play
You/we /they are going to play
He/she/it is going to play

The future simple is used in the following cases:
- To talk about future Action.
e.g. I will visit my parents soon.
He will meet us in the cafe at 3 O’clock.
- To express a voluntary action.
e.g. I will help you with this heavy bag.
I will send you all information you want.
I will open the door.
e.g. Will you please turn off the TV
Will you please open the door.
- We use Shall for the future when we want to give a suggestion.
e.g. Shall we go to the stadium?
- We use shall or will to express promise when used with the first persons.
e.g. We shall (will) provide you with all the assistance that you will need.
- We use Shall with you, he, she, they to express a threat.
e.g. You shall pay for all your errors.
The shall regret their acts.
- We use “be going to” to express intentions and decisions and prediction.
e.g. I’m going to quite the job.
I have too much work. I’m going to recruit some assistants.
She is pregnant. She is going to have a baby.
I can see the dark clouds gathering. I’m sure there is going to be a storm.
